Preschoolers

Our Little Pipis playgroup is open from 9:00-12:30 pm every Monday, Tuesday.

We warmly invite parents, caregivers and their under-5 tamariki to join us for an informal get-together in our quality early childhood space, guided by the Reggio Emilia child-centred, inquiry-based learning approach. This is a chance to enjoy a tea or coffee, connect with other whānau, and spend time in a calm, nurturing environment supported by a qualified early childhood teacher.

Our mixed-age setting reflects tuakana–teina, where older and younger children learn alongside and from one another in much the same way siblings do. Under-5 tamariki will have opportunities to interact with the older school children during morning tea and explore the wonderful facilities our school offers.

Set above the stunning east coast bays, our school features gorgeous outdoor spaces where children can play, explore and imagine while families relax, watch the ships roll in, and soak up the peaceful coastal atmosphere. It’s a fun, welcoming place to build connections and become part of our school community — we’d love you to come along and join us.
